Recycling Your Wetsuit
Diveovas Recycling Program
Recycle your old wetsuits and give them a new lease of life!
Wetsuits keep us warm and protected, allowing us to surf all year round.
But what happens when they’re done?
That’s what the Diveovas Wetsuit Recycling Program is all about.
We’ve launched a global wetsuit recycling program in partnership with professional recycling organizations. You can now recycle any used Diveovas branded surf wetsuits by mailing them to Diveovas through the contact details on the Diveovas website to help the environment.
Since we started our wetsuit recycling program, we’ve recycled more than 32,761 wetsuits, and we’ve recycled more than 30,000 wetsuits in most countries around the world.
The recycled wetsuits are reused into safety materials such as soft protective pads for children’s playgrounds. By recycling, you’re not only doing your part for the environment, but also creating the possibility of more fun and safety.
How the recycling process works:
- Shipping: Mail your old wetsuit dry to a designated Diveovas address
- Processing: The wetsuit is sent to our recycling partner for professional and environmentally friendly processing
- Recycling: The old wetsuit is shredded into new environmentally friendly materials
- Rebirth: These materials are used to make various environmentally friendly products, such as playground protective cushions, etc.
